 Mastering Your Mind

This may be the most important skill of all because once you master your mind nothing is beyond your reach. Research has shown that the average person uses only 2-10% of their brain power on a daily basis.  Think about that for a moment.  What if you learn to use 15%?  20%?  Or, even more?

Well, your brain is kind of like a muscle in the sense that the more you use it, the stronger it becomes.

Second, You Must Master Your Time

Look!!  The only thing in this life that you can’t get more of is time.  Once a moment is gone, it’s gone.  You never get it back.

So doesn’t it make sense that in order to achieve an outrageous level of success, you must take advantage of every minute?

Now that’s not to say that you have to work every minute of your life.  What kind of life would that be?  Sometimes, the best use of your time is to relax, play, or enjoy your friends and family.

The key is to use your time in a way that accomplishes what you want—at any given moment.  When it’s time to play, play well.  When it’s time to work, work well.  And when it’s time to learn, learn well.

Third, You Must Learn The Art of Communication

No matter what you want out of life, you probably need someone else to help you get it.

Whether it’s getting employees or co-workers to see things your way, or convincing your boss to give you a raise, or resolving a disagreement with your spouse or children, the surest way to get want you want is to be able to communicate your ideas to someone else.

This is pure dynamite!!  When you master the art of communicating with power you’ll suddenly feel like people are bending over backwards to help you get what you want.

And get this!!  Not only will you get people to see things your way, they’ll do it because they want to, not because you forced them to.

This is the closest thing to outright mind control you’ve ever seen.  Imagine a life where it seems that everyone you deal with wants to do everything they can to help you get what you want.

That’s what it’s like when you learn to communicate with power.

Imagine, no more arguing…no more wrangling…no more difficult negotiations…no more fighting to get what you want.

Nobody has ever said on their death bed, “I wish I had spent more time at the office.”  No, the biggest regret most people have when looking back is that they were so busy making a living, they didn’t take the time to enjoy and love their families and friends.

In fact, the biggest motivator in the world for most top performers—the thing that really drives them to succeed—is to be able to more fully enjoy their personal life and their families.
